Holiday-home listing and content rules

These rules help keep listings useful, lawful and trustworthy for travellers, owners and authorised property managers.

Eligible accommodation

Listings must represent legitimate New Zealand short-stay or holiday accommodation with a current owner, operator or authorised manager.

Accuracy

Property name, location, capacity, facilities, policies, pricing guidance and booking routes must be accurate and kept reasonably current. Important limitations must not be hidden.

Rights to content

You must own or have permission to publish every photograph, logo, description and other item supplied. Do not copy photographs or descriptions from third-party marketplaces without appropriate rights.

Enquiry and booking routes

Links and contact details must lead to the represented property or its authorised manager. Misleading redirects, affiliate substitution and unsafe payment requests are not permitted.

Verification and moderation

FindHolidayHomes may request evidence, decline or pause a listing, correct obvious errors, and re-check accuracy or authority. A Founding Host badge identifies programme participation and does not constitute an endorsement of the property.
